CITY COUNTRY DAY CAMPS
For campers currently in prechool - 5● Weekly, June 18 - July 13
In the tradition of progressive education at The Philadelphia School, campers will explore a variety of activities each day. We encourage curiosity through onsite challenges, build confidence through projects, expand campers’ worldview through storytelling, and empower them with opportunities to thrive throughout the day. We begin each day at The Philadelphia School, where we gather for Opening Circle. Campers greet one another, learn about the day to come, share their stories, and play games. Throughout the week, campers engage in art and exploration, sports and fitness activities, swimming, gardening, and a special adventure. All of our days end with Closing Circle, leaving campers excited for what’s to come and grateful for the fun they’ve had.
Seeds Day Camp: “A Bug’s Life”
Weekly, June 18 - July 13 ● campers currently in preschool & kindergarten
Enjoy “A Bug’s Life” this summer! Kindergarten and preschool campers will learn about insects that live near and far during four fun-filled weeks of A Bug’s Life Summer Camp! We’ll explore the TPS garden as we learn about crickets, beetles, butterflies and more. In addition to learning many insect facts, our young entomologists will also explore folktales and legends featuring insects as “characters.” We’ll dramatize the stories we read, and enjoy cooling off in sprinklers and wading pools. Come prepared to have a good time at camp!
